Lofting was a project that involved 3D modelling, laser cutting, and assembling the pieces together. In second year, we were challenged to make a 3D form and slice it into RTA pieces that slot into one another with notches. I created this organic shape on Rhino for the first time, then I laser cut the comb shaped pieces and assembled them together.
